May 20th, 2018:
Today Horriblesubs released an episode of Shokugeki no Soma with the subtitles of a different episode. Total lack of quality, am I right? Anyways, Last-Subs has picked up the slack and created an emergency release of the episode for all the poor souls who were earlier decieved. Grab it at https://nyaa.si/view/1039266. Enjoy!
May 11th, 2017:
Pour one out for Nyaa. On May 1st, the site shut down, seemingly for good.
Last-Subs used this site to host our torrents, so what's the plan now?
Well, there's a backup site at nyaa.pantsu.cat, that has all the releases. Even if it says there's no seeders, the Last-Subs server is still running fine, and should be capable of seeding to anyone. Just to be safe, we've added the additional tracker http://tracker.baka-sub.cf/announce
so if seeding isn't working, add the tracker to the torrent.
The main page's links have been changed to link to the nyaa.pantsu.cat archive. As for future releases, we'll figure something out.
Reikenzan will be finished someday.
November 24 2017 update: We've switched to https://nyaa.si, since that seems to be the site that everyone ended up using. You shouldn't need to edit any trackers.

It took the better part of the year, but Last-Subs has finally finished Pan de Peace! As always, grab it on nyaa or here on our site.

May 31st, 2016:
Pan de Peace! is a short series about 4 girls who meet over their shared interest in bread and their resulting discourse. We at Last-Subs feel that the other subbing groups are failing to convey the themes and messages of the show in their subs. To remedy this, we will be subbing this show, adding translator's notes to explain certain scenes that would be otherwise lost in translation.

April 24th, 2016:
As I'm sure many of your were too, we at Last-Subs were severly dissappointed by the ending of Boku dake ga Inai Machi (Erased). This is why we're proud to announce that we've resubbed the final episode. The Last-Subs version stays closer to the manga and even has some slight improvements in things like flow and animation. Grab it today on nyaa.
January 27th, 2016: Happy new year, everyone!
It appears that no major licensing studio has picked up the fantasy anime Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage, which began January 9th. As such, it is deprived of translations. To fix that mistake, we have decided to begin work on subbing the show. We will release on nyaa as per usual, and also put up everything on our site.
December 5th, 2015:
Last month, there was a fire at the Last-Subs workplace.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt, but the heavy property and computer damages made it impossible for us to continue subbing Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid.
We managed to recover the partial script for Episode 3 off of a damaged hard drive. We're releasing this untouched, and that concludes our subbing of this show. Hopefully we'll be back next season.
